I knew it as soon as I heard that they had been on Wife Swap!!!!
I didn't have the balls to start on the "it's a scam" train... because I would have felt bad if they found him dead in a tree :-(
Next time, I'm calling "bullshit" WELL BEFORE I have any factual basis for doing so :-)
LOL! I was trying not to be too mean until we knew the kid was fine...But I remembered that I had seen some of their Wife Swap clips on The Soup (or one of those shows) and the dad was NUTS! So I was pretty sure that he was the "mastermind" behind the whole thing!! He probably wants his own reality show!! Did you hear that he goes storm chasing with the kids?!?!
Real balls would have been actually putting your kid in the thing for the publicity, not just pretending you did.
Hehe. Any family that names their kid Falcon should be automatically suspect.

That's a good one, E. From all I'm reading now, the best thing for those kids would be for them to be taken away from the lunatic parents, even if they were to be raised by a pack of wolves.

I don't know about non-traditional names, but Falcon sounds like they were planning this stunt from the day he was born.
these kids are in real danger the dad first call was to the FAA,then the local news,then 911,these idiots want to be famous so bad,whats wrong with this world? funny the kid told the police it was a scam. i will bet he really got sent to the attic for telling
And nice job by Wolf Blitzer (if that's him doing the interview) in totally missing the kid saying "you told me we did this for a show."
